Maybe I will start with the fact that zipper pouch are never enough. This time I sewed a zipper pouch according to the tutorial of Ela Zeman. The link to the tutorial can be found here. Of course, my zipper pouch is not as elegant as Ela’s zipper pouch, but I’m glad because Ela’s blog post has mobilized me to sew.
Recently I came back to embroidery. I embroider tiny things because I don’t want to start and leave for the next years. ( obviously my nails are ready to St Patric’s Holiday
I embroidered this flower. But it turned out to be too big to be sewn onto this zipper pouch. So I quickly embroidered such a small ornament. I think the zipper pouch looks much better now. Below are some photos of my new zipper pouch.
Theoretically enough if you leave 2 1/2 inch from the both side that the binding overlaps but it is a bit difficult to mark the line. So I leave a little more.
