I like February, because I like to sew for Valentine’s Day. I love pink , hearts and every sweet thinks.
Two days ago I could not sleep at night, so I thought I would surprises for my sons and their girlfriends. The idea will have to be quick and easy to do : heart appliqué and simple quilting. For appliqué I used heart template for quilting. Link to this shape is here
Applique and free motion quilting
I started in the late afternoon
Little table cloth ( about 28×28 inches)
The border consists of 2 1/2 inch squares
For the set I made 4 mug rugs for two different sizes
I made two the same sets. For the petals of flowers I used a little shapes of hearts. They looks like sweet pink shamrock – for lucky! It’s not the end of my Valentine’s Day work. Today I’m finishing valentine’s pillow ( with appliqué too)
