I always wanted sew vinyl pouch but … you know all times is something most important to do. But – here you are! It’s very simple and quick of course. Inside you can to see what I prepared to evening work. Those little embroidery „pictures” it’s pattern and so sweet scissors from Lynette Anderson. Sewing on vinyl is difficult without special foot . I used foot No 52D to my Berta 770QE

I wonder if you also have a problem how to trim the binding at the end to make your binding perfect? I have a cool tutorial for you

You need to binding tool template and pen to mark

Theoretically enough if you leave 2 1/2 inch from the both side that the binding overlaps but it is a bit difficult to mark the line. So I leave a little more.

I put the binding tool on the end of binding on my left side and mark little line

I put the binding tool to the end of the opened binding on my left side and trim it. Draw line is under the line on this template

Put the binding overlap and mark line on the biding on the top.

 I continue draw the line vertical

Rotate binding tool (180 degree) up side down, put and match the line and trim it on the other side (my right side) 

The binding is perfectly trimmed! Not too long , not too short

Put right side together and pin it 

If you want you can to draw sewing line

Sew together

like this

Fold it and continue sewing to the start stitch. 

I hope , now you will create a smooth join that allows the binding to lay perfectly flat (not too short or too long)

Today for the while Winter came. I saw snow for few minutes but all days the weather was mixed: sunny and snowy… climate is change and February looks like March
