Hi everyone! I did it   But from beginning : last Saturday, my lovely and charming little neighbor had Birthday. She is 3 yers old and obviously she is big fun of Peppa Pig   First think was to buy panel Peppa Pig ( it will be easier  ) but unfortunately this panel was unavailable in Europe and If I ordered in the US, I would not get it on time. So I had to do myself hahaha Good for me that I love appliqué  „Couple of hours” and … tadammmm! Peppa Pig quilt was ready to gift

Now seriously : this quilt I made 4 long days. First I had to to choose fabrics. Problem number one – I haven’t fabrics for kids , so decision time, which one will be perfect was longer. Problem number two – what kind of batting will be better – cotton – I love and I’m using very often , but my idea was make quilt for cover/ sleep ( like blanket, you know what I mind) so for this idea silikon batting is better than cotton. Problem number three: backing idea – using flannel . I never use silicon batting and flannel but I wanted very soft and cozy quilt to do. Everybody likes to cuddle up to soft things, especially kids, right? I wasn’t sure of my decision. Perhaps such a set would be too thick. Either way, the duvet is great. I am so happy, but the smile on the face of the „Princess” – priceless !!!
