…and it was like this: years ago I sewed one side front of a Christmas stocking (quilt as you go method) and decorated it with a decorative stitch that I have in my Bernina sewing machine. And I put this to my box with sign: „to do later”  because I had no idea what to do with it.. But 2 days ago when I watched my box with UFO „treasure” I thought that I should do other design on other side of stocking.

So I cut long piece of cotton fabric + long piece of batting and I was sit to my Capri longarm machine and I quilted whole piece like this below. Obviously I started in the middle (standard quilting when you move the sandwich, not when you move the machines.)

I choose beautiful copper color thread.

The piece was really long hahaha I quilted about 4 hours, but I wanted to sew 6 big stocking

I thing it’s good idea because I couldn’t decided which style I prefer : traditional ( red-green) or „elegant” and modern – white. So now it’s not a problem because one stocking you can to use on two ways hahaha so win-win situation

Still hot weather in Poland and in fact I lost 3 kilos ( woohoo!  )so after „hard”  sewing work I went to the city. The ice cream was delicious …   I needed this very much
